Ngapali Beach is one of Myanmar’s most attractive seaside spots with white sand beach and crystal clear water. The origin of the name is some of a mystery, but the most popular story says that it was named by a homesick Italian who came from Naples. There is more to do around Ngapali than just swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. The bicycles can be rent to tour several of the villages, such as Ngapali, Lintha, Kyitaw and Myabyin. The beach is about 6.4 km from Thandwe. There is a number of airlines offer flights from Yangon. It is also accessible by road.
